Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Koju app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use Koju. This age requirement is necessary for compliance with privacy laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

If you are under 16 years of age, you are not permitted to use or register for this service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 16. If we discover that a user under 16 has provided personal information, we will delete such information immediately.

3. Description of Service

Koju is a Korean astrology (Saju) application. Before you create an account, Koju shows a preview of your four pillars, your element balance, and the companion in your day pillar. Everything beyond that preview is part of the Koju Pro subscription:

• A daily reading, and a longer full reading
• Compatibility between two saved charts
• The traditional stem-and-branch detail behind each pillar
• Saving your chart and the people you add
• Sharing a chart or a reading

4. User Accounts

An account is required to use Koju beyond the introductory chart preview. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate birth information
• Maintaining account security
• All activities under your account
• Notifying us of unauthorized use

5. Subscription Terms

Koju is a subscription service. A Koju Pro subscription is required to use the app beyond the introductory chart preview. Where offered, new subscribers may start with a free trial:

• The free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand
• The free trial is available once per store account
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the same price and period unless cancelled
• Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase
• Billing and cancellation are handled through your device's app store subscription settings
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer the app
• Share account credentials
• Interfere with service operation
• Upload harmful content

7. Intellectual Property

The Koju app and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Koju is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Astrology readings are for entertainment purposes only and should not be used as the sole basis for important life decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on astrology readings.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
