Common questions
What is free, and what needs a subscription?
Koju shows your four pillars, your element balance, and the companion in your day pillar before you create an account. Everything ongoing — a reading every day, the full reading, compatibility, the traditional stem-and-branch detail, and saving and sharing your chart — is part of Koju Pro, an auto-renewing subscription that covers the whole app.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by your app store, not by Koju, so that is where you manage them. In the app, open Me › Manage Koju Pro. Or go straight to the store: on iPhone, Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store › profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps access until the end of the period you have paid for.
I resubscribed or reinstalled and the app still shows the paywall.
Tap Restore purchaseson the paywall. It asks your app store for the subscription tied to your store account and unlocks the app. If it still does not, email us the store account's email and we will look it up.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Me › Settings & privacy and choose delete account. That removes your account and every chart and person saved to it. If you cannot get into the app, email privacy@thekoju.app from the address on the account and we will do it for you. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — do that in your app store first.
Why does Koju need my birth time?
Saju charts are built from the four pillars of your birth — year, month, day, and hour. The hour pillar comes directly from your birth time. If you only know it roughly, Koju still builds the other three accurately and tells you which parts of a reading depend on the hour.
Can I use Koju in Korean?
Yes. Koju is written in English and Korean. You choose during onboarding and can change it any time in Me › Settings & privacy › Language; readings follow the language you pick.
